Welcome Back! Welcome Back!

zoom_out_map

Dear DMS Families,

It is hard to believe that it is already the end of August, but we are excited to begin a new school year, and we look forward to welcoming our students back to DMS on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.

We are also looking forward to connecting with our 5th graders, as well as students who are new to DMS, at orientation on Monday, August 26th. In addition to our Step Up Day in the Spring, this will allow all new students the chance to get into DMS before the start of school. Grade 5 and new student orientation will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. PTO sponsored Locker Night will also be a part of the evening.

As we begin to think about the first day of school for all students, please see below for important information. We hope that it will allow for an easy return for students and families as summer comes to a close. Please feel free to reach out to the DMS Main Office if you have any questions prior to the first day. In addition, you should use this district calendar for the 2024-2025 school year.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back in just over a week! Enjoy your final few days.

Best Regards,

Brianne Kelleher

Principal

This will help us to support them as a school/home partnership if there are any questions or concerns with their academics. Please reach out to classroom teachers directly with specific questions about a class. Teacher contact information can be found on our school website: Dighton Middle School | Home (drregional.org). In addition, the policy for promotion to the next grade level can be found here.

If you have questions regarding access to the portal, please reach out to the DMS Main Office.
