Please consider helping Salford Hills help families in need this Thanksgiving season. See the list below for donation items.

Santa will be in the greenhouse at Souderton High School! There will be game and activities for students, as well as, holiday plants for sale.

This will be a fun night with art activities for all ages. Come on out and support our Character Counts Coalition!

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held November 24th through November 26th. Please look for communication from your child's teacher for the specific date and time for your conference.

This year's shop will be held during the school day on Thursday, December 4th and Friday, December 5th!

This is a great (and optional) opportunity for students to spend up to 25 minutes doing a little holiday shopping for family and friends. There will be a variety of gift items ranging in price from $0.25 to $10.00, with a majority under $5.00. Your child will soon bring home a letter with more information, labels for wrapping, and a money envelope - please check their folders!

If you have a fifth grader at Salford Hills we would love some photos of your fifth grader (with his/her classmates) over the years at Salford Hills. If you have photos from socials, Race for Education, field trips, or any other school events, we would appreciate your sharing them with us for the 5th Grade Memory Book. Please do not send any individual photos or photos of events outside of school. We exclusively need photos (of two or more children together) from events at Salford Hills. The Memory Book is a gift from Home & School for all 5th graders and does not need to be purchased.

You may email photos to memorybook@salfordhillshsa.org. Please make sure you label the picture with the grade and teacher name.

Please join the Home & School Association at our next meeting! This is a great opportunity to meet other parents, learn about HSA events and discover different ways to get involved and volunteer. Bring your ideas, concerns, or questions to the Board and allow the kids to play since childcare is always provided. We hope to see you there!

If you have any interest in potentially volunteering (donating time, talent, funds or food!) at any time throughout the school year, please fill out the Google form below. There will plenty of chances to get involved both in the classroom and at after school events. There is no commitment by filling out the form -- it simply adds you to the email list to be notified about opportunities where you could contribute in some way.

Click THIS LINK to access the Cycle Day Calendar for the year. All elementary schools operate on a four day cycle, and this calendar may be helpful when a homeroom teacher shares the specials schedule (forthcoming). For instance, PE is on Day 2 -- Wear Your Sneakers! :)

The new and beautiful Salford Hills Kitchen is open and ready to serve! The new kitchen opened at the end of last week, and is now serving full lunches again! The students favorite part is probably a toss up between Pizza Friday being back, or the new ice cream freezer.

Check out these amazing Haunted Mansion Architects! They designed these mansions with several constraints for each exhibit and the total mansion: less than 600 lbs. (total), at least 20 mins (total), specified lengths and widths (each room and the total). There were A LOT of calculations, conversions, (and a few restarts) before we got to the creativity of the design. So much fun!

The 5th Grade Salford Hills Blue Crew Ambassadors are back at it again and ready to show off their leadership skills by leading a morning meeting in a k-4 classroom.

Fundamentally committed to each other, we at Salford Hills are a caring community of learners who value each individual’s intrinsic worth and potential.
