November 2025
News from Dr. E
Dear Jefferson Families,
As we enter the month of November, our focus naturally turns to gratitude and thankfulness. In our busy world, it’s easy to get caught up in routines and forget to pause and appreciate the many good things around us—our families, our friendships, our school community, and the everyday moments that make a difference.
At Jefferson Elementary, we believe that thankfulness isn’t just something we talk about—it’s something we model for our students each day. When children see adults expressing genuine gratitude—whether it’s a simple “thank you,” a note of appreciation, or taking time to recognize someone’s effort—they learn the value of kindness, respect, and connection.
This month, I encourage our Jefferson families to find small ways to show thankfulness together. Talk about what you’re grateful for at dinner, write a quick thank-you note to a teacher or friend, or take a moment to notice and appreciate acts of kindness. These moments, while small, help build a culture of gratitude that extends beyond the classroom and lasts all year long.
Together, let’s continue to model the power of thankfulness—because gratitude, when shared, grows.
One Proud Principal,
Dr. Tami Eshleman
