From the Principal's Desk:
Dear Wildcat Family,
Another amazing week in the books at Wade Elementary! We had a little excitement, lots of learning, and many opportunities to celebrate our Wildcats! As we continue working toward our school improvement goals in reading and math and building a positive school culture, we need your partnership! Please make reading a daily habit and practice math every day while cooking, shopping, or completing daily routines. Most importantly, ask your child, “What are you learning? Why are you learning it? How do you know you are successful?” Don’t settle for answers like “math” or “reading.” Dig a little deeper! Encourage your child to explain their thinking, share what they learned, and show you what they know. A special shout-out to our amazing Wade PTO for bringing our families together for a fun-filled time at Chuck E. Cheese! Be on the lookout for another exciting PTO event this week! We also need your support during arrival and dismissal. If you can volunteer, please sign up in the front office. If you can’t volunteer, you can still make a difference by following The Wade Way during drop-off and pick-up. Together, let’s model our 3 Wildcat B’s: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe! Thank you for being our partners in making Wade a place where every Wildcat learns, grows, and belongs. That’s the Wade Way!

Parking Lot Safety Reminder
Parents we want to thank you for adhering to our parking lot procedures which are established to ensure the safety of our students and staff. We have had a few calls from concerned parents regarding parents letting students out in the middle of the parking lot who then have to walk across in front of cars and/or cars cutting the drop-off line. It is imperative that everyone follow the rules to ensure a safe and orderly arrival and dismissal. We must remember that our children are watching everything we do and learn for our actions not our words. Following established rules is something that students struggle with. You make an impact, positive or negatively, with just your own actions.
