Welcome to September! We are off to a wonderful start at RHPS, and it has been such a joy to see our Wee Wildcats settling into routines, building friendships, and growing as learners. This month, we look forward to continuing to strengthen our home–school partnership, as your support plays such a vital role in student success. September brings exciting opportunities for learning and community, and we are grateful to have you alongside us every step of the way.

Essential Information

School Hours: 8:20 AM - 3:20 PM
Student Arrival:

Drop-off will begin at 7:50 AM
Students should be dropped off no later than 8:15 AM to ensure they are in their classrooms and ready to learn by 8:20 AM.
If a student arrives after car line drop-off has ended, a parent/guardian must sign them in at the front office.
The Tardy Bell will ring at 8:20 AM.

Student Dismissal:

Dismissal will begin at 3:20 PM.
Students should be picked up via carline no later than 3:40 PM
Any dismissal changes must be communicated with front office staff and your child's homeroom teacher. Updates can be made by parents using the PikMyKid parent app.

Meal Prices:

Breakfast - students $2.50
Lunch - students $3.75 (elementary) and $4.00 (middle/high)/visitors $5.25

Our Charleston Wrap fundraiser kicks off today! Wrapping paper, gifts, treats, and so much more are available via the online platform. 🤩 Prizes are available for all students that register and sell items. Register and share today! Be on the lookout for a packet with additional information.

Our school counselors are excited to share a new monthly newsletter highlighting our Social Emotional Learning (SEL) focus of the month. Each issue will give families tools and tips to help our Wee Wildcats grow strong hearts and minds.

Thank you all for your patience as we have navigated regional delays with PikMyKid. Your flexibility and support mean the world to us!

Please see the reminders below regarding car line:

Please ensure your car is in park when receiving or dropping off your student in carline. This will ensure all vehicles and Wee Wildcats are safe.
Please utilize the appropriate route to car line in the afternoon. If you are not picking up a student at RHE or GWC, you must enter carline via Maple Street.
Please have your student unbuckled and ready to depart the vehicle during arrival. We are attempting to unload all vehicles by 8:15.

Lunch Guests

Lunch guests will be welcomed on campus one week per month. Please note the following guidelines:

All visitors must be approved contacts on the student's white card
All guests will be required to sign in at the reception table and wear a visitor's badge while on campus. Please be prepared to present a photo ID.
We are only able to accommodate one lunch guest per child per week due to space limitations. Please make arrangements for siblings while visiting your child for lunch.
All visitors will eat with their child at a designated area in the lunchroom. Due to space and safety, only your child will be permitted to eat lunch with you. Other students will not be permitted to join lunch with you.
No outside food will be permitted during your visit.
Please ensure you review the schedule closely for designated weeks. We will only be able to accommodate lunch guests on the scheduled weeks listed below.
