MESSAGE FROM NURSE SUZY!
Hello parents and welcome back to a new school year ! Summer went by so fast.
If your child has any type of medical condition that I don't already know about, please call me and let me know.
Casts, braces, splints, crutches etc.. If your child has one of these and comes to school , I do need a Dr. note specifically stating whether or not your child can participate in PE and recess.
Parents of a 12 year old. It is a state requirement that your child be vaccinated or have an exemption form filled out for the Tdap and Meningitis vaccine. Most Dr. 's give these vaccines at age 11. Please bring me those vaccine records or I will have to call you.
This year I don't have any water bottles to hand out so please make sure your child brings water to school.
Going around the Health Office:
Headache /fever bug that is lasting about 4 days.
It was so nice to see everyone at Teacher Night ! Thank you for stopping in to say hello.
Hoping for a wonderful school year!
Nurse Suzy and Ms. Lucy

Help us Support Local Teachers- Donate today!
Did you know that the average teacher spends over $500 of their own money to get their classroom ready for the year and to provide supplies for students in their classrooms?
In partnership with the Town, For Our Town-Gilbert is excited to announce the third annual Teacher Supply Drive to support our teachers and students in need. We believe that every child deserves the resources they need to have a successful school year, and we are asking for your help in making this a reality.
Local businesses have signed up as donation drop off locations to help us collect essential school supplies to distribute to both Gilbert and Higley Elementary Districts. This is a great opportunity to give back and make a difference in the lives of children who may not have access to the supplies they need to succeed.
