Thank you to all of the families who came out for our first neighborhood meeting last night. We had a great turnout and our design team was able to collect a lot of valuable input. There will be one more opportunity to participate on October 19th. Please consider joining us!

We were informed by the city that there will be some resurfacing work along 84th Street from Grover to Center street beginning the week of September 18, 2023. Milling, or roadway removal, will take place during the day under traffic. Paving work is tentatively scheduled to begin that week on Friday, 9/22 from 7 PM to 7 AM. The schedule is subject to change based on weather impacts or unforeseen circumstances. We wanted families to be aware in case this impacts traffic during drop-off or dismissal times.

Thank you for everyone’s patience as we navigate dismissal each day. Ensuring that more than 300 students dismiss safely each day is a huge feat, and we have appreciated all our families patience and cooperation.

With this, we want to remind everyone that vehicles leaving the drive are asked not to make a left hand turn onto Hascall Street. This backs up traffic and inevitably slows dismissal down. Additionally, we want to remind everyone that there should be NO off street parking along Hascall Street on the West side of the school from the drive to the crosswalk. This limits two-lane traffic on Hascall and will also slow down our procedures.

Right now, we have typically been able to have the drive cleared by 3:08 daily! This is an awesome accomplishment and we could not do this without all of your help. Thank you!

This is a FREE event open to families in the community of individuals with specials needs.

Our student-athletes look forward to having a fun morning with everyone!
