Owatonna Public Schools

Standard Response Protocol
At Owatonna Public Schools, the safety of our students and staff is our highest priority. To ensure our schools remain prepared for any situation, we use the “I Love U Guys” Standard Response Protocol, a proven safety program implemented by over 50,000 schools, districts and agencies. This all-hazards approach emphasizes five clear, action-based responses—Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate, and Shelter—rather than focusing on specific scenarios.
Watch the video to learn more about our Standard Response Protocol.
To ensure you are notified of any emergency situation or inclement weather, please review all your contact information in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

The organizations are:
City of Owatonna
