Student led conferences are on Monday February 17th, that means we have no school that day.

Students have been working hard to prepare for their presentations. Please make sure you have taken the time to sign up with your child's advisory teacher so you can participate in their conference. The advisory with the highest attendance rate will earn a pizza party. We understand if a parent isn't able to attend, if there is another adult in your students life that is able to attend and listen to their presentation and ask questions. Below are some examples of questions to ask your students during their conference.

  • What have you learned about this year?

  • What would you like to learn that you do not already know?

  • Which subject is challenging for you?

  • How does your work show you have improved?

  • Which is your favorite subject?

  • Who do you usually sit with at lunch?
  • What kind of classmate/student are you?
  • What have you learned about this year?
  • What can you tell me about working in groups?

  • What strengths do you bring to group projects?

  • What would you like to achieve by the end of this academic year?

  • How do you think you have changed over the course of this academic year?

  • What are three things you hope to change in the future?

  • How can I help you at home to achieve the goals?

We look forward to seeing any and all who can attend!

Attention 8th Grade Parents Attention 8th Grade Parents

On February 21st our 8th graders will get the opportunity to participate in RealityU at the High School. Our session will be from 9:35-11:00am

We are looking for volunteers to help make this event run smoothly. Please consider volunteering if you are able to, this is a great experience for all of our students.

Have you ever paid a bill? Are you 18 or older? Would you like to have fun helping Sophomores and Juniors at Jefferson West High School and Eighth graders at Jefferson West Middle School practice finances?

YES! Then, please join us as a volunteer for Reality U's financial simulator at Jefferson West High School on February 21st, 2025.

What does it look like to volunteer? The students take a pre-survey of what they want their life to look like at 26 years old. When they arrive at Reality U, they will get a paycheck based on their survey and need to go pay their bills for the month! Volunteers will get to run a booth as a sales rep for housing, phone, transportation, and more! The booth info and training will be provided. We just need YOU!

Together, we get to help students connect their current education with their financial future!

Please use the link below to sign up for one, two, or all three-time slots on February 21st to volunteer at a booth. If you cannot volunteer but have a friend who would be perfect for this activity or would like to help, please share the link with them.
