TRIP TO THE EASTERN STATE PENITENTIARY 😱

🚩 Click Here to Sign Up for this Activity

Saturday, October 24 from 1:00pm - Midnight

Spend a few hours in the historic city of Philadelphia (fondly known as Philly) before heading to experience the thrills of Halloween Nights at the Eastern State Penitentiary. This is an immersive experience featuring 5 haunted houses, over 200 performers, and more - all within the walls of a real, abandoned 10-acre prison. A Halloween festival of epic proportions, this trip is not for the faint of heart. Students must have a BUDDY and a working U.S. cell phone number to attend this trip. No student will be allowed to walk around Philly or inside the penitentiary alone. Students may want to bring a small amount of money to purchase snacks or other items while they are in Philly. To learn more about this event, click here!

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:

  • This trip will open to day students on TUESDAY of this week. Sign up today if you want to secure your spot!
  • Since tickets for this trip had to be purchased in advance, students who sign up and then don't show up will be charged for this event.

SPOOKY MOVIE NIGHT 👻

Saturday, Oct 24 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm

If haunted houses aren't your thing, but you still want some of that Halloween spirit, come to the Res Life Center on Friday night at 9:00pm. We'll have a few fall snacks, dim lighting, and a not-too-scary Halloween movie on the big screen TV. Throw on your pajamas and join us!

MINIBUS RUNS

Sunday, Oct 25 at 1:00pm

This is the usual Minibus Run. Hop on the bus at 1:00pm (Manor House Loop) and tell your driver where you'd like to go. You can stop anywhere along Reisterstown Road between the two Targets or head over to the Metro Centre for more food and shop options.

PUMPKIN CARVING 🎃

Sunday, Oct 25 at 4:00pm

Hang out on the Dining Hall Porch right before dinner and carve a pumpkin or two! We'll provide the pumpkins, carving materials, and battery-powered candles. You bring the creativity! Carved pumpkins must be displayed OUTSIDE of the dorms (no carved pumpkins indoors, please).
