Curriculum Weekly Update
For the week of 11.02.26
Department of Learning Weekly Overview
Tuesday, November 3 is CHUH Professional Learning Day.
Dear CHUH staff,
As you prepare for next Tuesday’s district-wide professional learning day, please take a few moments to preview the professional learning day booklet. The booklet has the titles and descriptions of all sessions available throughout the day.
As a reminder, district professional learning days run from 8:15a-3:45p. Lunch will be from 11:30a-12:45p. ALL STAFF - please complete this Google form by Saturday, October 31 to let the district know your plans for lunch and transportation on November 3.
Most sessions will be held at Heights High School. Some sessions will also be held at the Board of Education, Delisle Options Center, and Wiley. See below for session times throughout the professional learning day.
We ask staff to complete an evaluation form at the end of each session they attend.
Teachers will have opportunities to collaborate and plan throughout the day. Teams should use 1 (one) collaboration session to analyze interim data. Please bring necessary materials and a laptop.
Jennings-Fund for Teachers Applications Now Open.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2027 Jennings-Fund for Teachers program! This exciting opportunity provides PK-12 educators with the chance to travel, explore, and learn through self-designed professional learning experiences that broaden their perspectives, inspire their teaching, and bring fresh ideas and experiences back to their classrooms.
