Hello NRMS Families,

We hope everyone has a wonderful long weekend. Today, our faculty participated in a number of professional development workshops. This time to learn and collaborate is an essential way for us to collectively improve our craft and deliver the high level of instruction for all students.

Earlier this week you should have received information about parent-teacher-student conferences. Please follow the steps to sign up for conferences on October 29 and October 30. We strongly encourage students to join these meetings so that they can take ownership for their learning and know that their teachers and their parents are working together to support them.

We were able to pack the gym in support of our volleyball team this week. It is amazing to see how much the team has improved in just the second year of the program. Go Nauset!

Next week, we invite you to attend the PTO meeting. This month's guest is Superintendent Glenn Brand.

Reminder - there is no school on Monday for the holiday.

Peter Cohen, Ed.D.

Principal

At NRMS, every student and staff member is a member of a House. 6th graders and New Students will find out their House assignment during the first week of school. Will Hurricane House successfully defend their House Cup title and repeat as champions? We will provide updates here.

The Tornado House holds on to their lead this week.
