Spencer's Message; September 27th
Dear Rodriguez Families,
Thank you to everyone who participated in Parent Conferences on Friday, September 25th! We truly appreciate you taking the time to connect with your child’s teacher and partner with us in supporting your child’s success. If you were unable to attend a conference, it is not too late! Please reach out directly to your child’s teacher if you would like to schedule a time to meet
In this newsletter, you will find the Title I presentation that was shared with families on September 15th. We have also included a feedback form for anyone who would like to share thoughts, provide feedback, or ask questions about the presentation. We value your voice and appreciate your partnership!
Upcoming Holidays
We have several days off coming up, so please mark your calendars:
Thursday, October 8th: Student Holiday — Professional Learning Day for Staff
Friday, October 9th: Student and Staff Holiday
Monday, October 12th: Student and Staff Holiday
We are excited to share that our campus is meeting our goal of maintaining above 95% attendance! Thank you, families, for helping us make regular attendance a priority. Being at school every day gives students the opportunity to learn, grow, and stay connected with their teachers and classmates.
We also had two grade levels last week that each had a day with 100% of their students present! What an amazing accomplishment! Thank you for helping us celebrate the importance of being at school and ready to learn.
Staying Healthy and Connected
As cold and flu season approaches, please remind your kiddos to wash their hands often and help us avoid sharing those pesky germs! Encourage them to cover their mouths and noses when coughing or sneezing, preferably with a tissue or their elbow. These simple habits can make a big difference in keeping our students, staff, and families healthy.
And finally, please be sure to follow us on Facebook! This is a great way to stay up to date with campus news, celebrations, reminders, and all the wonderful things happening at Rodriguez.
Thank you for your continued support, partnership, and trust. We are so grateful to have such wonderful families as part of our Rodriguez community. Together, we are helping our students learn, grow, and thrive!
Warmly,
Kelly Spencer

A Note From Mrs. Moreno, AP
Monday is our last Attendance Spirit Day as we close out September’s Attendance Awareness Month! Thank you to all of our students and families who have participated in our spirit days and helped us promote the importance of good school attendance.
Be sure to read the October Attendance Newsletter for information about upcoming attendance incentives and recognition, as well as important information regarding the compulsory attendance law and school district attendance requirements.
Consistent attendance has a positive impact on a student’s academic success. Thank you for partnering with us by helping your child attend school every day, arrive on time, and schedule doctor’s appointments and other appointments outside of the school day whenever possible.
