STAR Data
STAR is a computer-adaptive test used in grades K–8 that gives quick, accurate information about a student’s reading and math skills. Teachers use STAR results to monitor progress, identify strengths and needs, and personalize instruction throughout the year.
IRLA Data
IRLA (Independent Reading Level Assessment) is a tool our teachers use to understand your child’s reading strengths and needs. It helps pinpoint exactly what skills your child has mastered and what skills they are ready to learn next.
The IRLA combines information about phonics skills, vocabulary, comprehension, and reading fluency to determine your child’s independent reading level. Teachers use this data to provide targeted instruction, select just-right books, and monitor progress throughout the year. IRLA data gives us a clear, individualized roadmap so we can support every child in becoming a confident, successful reader.
The data outlined below shows our leaners' progress as of 2/27/26.

Early Literacy Indicators
DIBELS Data
DIBELS is a set of quick, one-on-one reading checks given to K–4 students to see how well they are developing essential early literacy skills—such as letter sounds, decoding, and fluency. It helps teachers identify who may need extra reading support and monitor progress.
The data below outlines the beginning and middle of year DIBELS assessment.
Growth Data
PVAAS Data
PVAAS (Pennsylvania Value-Added Assessment System) is a tool Pennsylvania uses to measure student academic growth from year to year.
Instead of looking only at whether a child scored “proficient,” PVAAS focuses on how much progress students made compared to similar students across the state.
It helps schools understand:
-
Whether students are growing at an expected rate
-
Which groups of students may need additional support
-
How instruction is impacting student learning over time

-
Academic achievement
-
Student growth
-
Attendance
-
English learner progress
-
College and career readiness
It gives families a fuller picture of how well a school supports student success—not only on test scores, but in overall readiness for the future.
