A Great Week Across Mansfield Public Schools!

Dear Families,

It has been another wonderful week across Mansfield Public Schools, filled with opportunities for student engagement, connection, and community!

Professional Development Day: Our staff participated in a day of professional learning focused on advancing our district goals, strengthening curriculum implementation, and ensuring alignment of teaching and learning across our schools. This dedicated time provided valuable opportunities for educators to collaborate, share ideas, and continue building on the great work already happening in our classrooms. We appreciate our staff's ongoing commitment to professional growth and providing meaningful learning experiences for all students.

At Mansfield High School, students participated in a Student Voice Summit this week. I was incredibly impressed by the level of engagement, thoughtful conversations, and creative ideas our students shared about how they can make a positive impact on their school and the broader community. It is always inspiring to see our students take an active role in shaping their school experience and making their voices heard!

At Qualters Middle School, our cross country team is off and running! Congratulations to our student-athletes on a successful meet held on September 24. It is wonderful to see students connecting with their peers, challenging themselves, and representing their school with pride.

We have also officially wrapped up Curriculum Nights across all of our schools! I had the pleasure of attending Roland Green's Curriculum Night on Thursday evening and enjoyed seeing our youngest learners' school community come together. Thank you to all of our families who attended these events over the past several weeks. The strong partnership between our schools and families plays such an important role in supporting student success, and we truly appreciate your continued involvement.

Finally, Jordan/Jackson School celebrated Walk to School Day today, and the beautiful weather made it a perfect morning for students, families, and staff to come together. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this such a positive community event!

These moments, both big and small, remind us of what makes Mansfield such a special school community. Thank you for all you do to support our students and schools. One Team, One Community, One Mansfield!

Warmly,

Michelle L. McKeon, Ed.D.
