Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Next week we’ll be launching our Accelerated Reader (AR) program, and we are so excited to see our students set reading goals, explore books they love, and track their progress throughout the year.
AR helps build reading confidence and independence by allowing students to choose books at their level, read at their own pace, and take short quizzes to check comprehension. As they read more, they’ll earn recognition for their hard work — and most importantly, they’ll grow as readers.
Here’s how you can help at home:
Encourage your child to read every day — even 15–20 minutes makes a big difference.
Ask them to tell you about the story or facts they’ve learned.
Celebrate their effort, not just their scores.
We can’t wait to see our school buzzing with reading excitement. Thank you for partnering with us to foster a love of books and learning in your child.
