UHS Weekly Announcements 8/16/26
🐝 General Information 🐝
The parking passes this year are $25 per student driver. We do have some layers to this:
* If you are scheduled to be on campus for 4 or more classes/day, your pass is $25
* If you are on campus for up to 3 classes per day, your pass is $15
Seniors, if you scored at 40 or higher on your ASVAB, please see Mrs. Pam for your parking pass price.
Permission forms are available in the Counseling Office for Juniors and Seniors interested in attending the Upper Cumberland College Fair at TTU on Wednesday, August 26. They are due back to the Counseling Office by Tuesday, August 18.
Blood Drive will be September 1st from 8:30am-2:00pm. (Scan the QR Code below to reserve your spot!)
UHS Coffee Shop is now open. Hours are 7:45-10:00. Hot drinks $1.00, Flavorings .25
The Band practices in the back student parking lot beginning @ 3:30. All vehicles MUST be moved before then!!! If you have questions, please see Mr. Oliver.
Parent Teacher Conferences are September 15, 2026, 3-6.
CHS is hosting an ACT Bootcamp September 25-27. Stop by the counseling office for a flyer that includes a coupon code and instructions on how to enroll.
Yearbooks are on sale now for $90. After December 1st, they will be $125. They can be purchased online @ jhacompany.com or bring cash or check to Mrs. Craig in room 326. We have sold out the past two years so don’t miss out and save $35 by ordering now!!
🎓 Seniors 🎓
Mandatory Senior Orientation will be held on Friday, August 28 at 9:40am in the auditorium. (This is for students only, Parents do not need to attend)
The TN Promise application is open. Apply at tnpromise.gov
🎼 Club/Elective Happenings 🎭
Students interested in joining or returning to student council, please come see Ms. Stamps in room 312 to pick up a participation form!
Any student interested in joining the UHS Beta Club should sign-up on the Beta Club Bulletin Board in the 300-wing by Friday, August 21. The deadline to pay your Beta dues is Wednesday, September 2. Please drop off all dues to Mr. Apple in Room #315. Fees are $60 for new Senior Members, $50 for all other new members and $30 for returning members.
FCCLA Membership dues will be taken August 17-21. It is $30 to join and includes a t-shirt!
Wrestling Interest Meeting Tuesday August 18th @ 6:30pm in the wrestling room.
HOSA sign up sheet is hung outside Mrs. Morgan’s room. Sign up by 8/20/26
Annie auditions will be Monday, August 17-Thursday, August 20 from 3:30-6:30. See Mrs. Craig for an application
