APS Homecoming Newsletter
Alamogordo Public Schools | September 2026
Homecoming is almost here!
Homecoming festivities begin next week, and it is time to bring the community together to show off our Tiger Pride! 🐯 From September 28th through October 3rd, help us turn Alamogordo Black & Gold by decorating your homes, storefronts, and vehicles. Businesses can request marketing kits to join in on the celebration; parade registration is officially open, and we are promoting our Spotlight on Alumni program to highlight inspiring AHS graduates. We need everyone out in full force supporting Tiger athletics all week long: head to the games for Boys Soccer and Volleyball on Tuesday, grab a $2 cash ticket for Wednesday's Powder Fluff or Powder Puff fundraisers supporting the Junior and Senior classes, and cheer on Girls Soccer on Thursday. The excitement peaks on Friday, October 2nd, with the Homecoming Parade at 3:00 PM, followed by packing the stands at Tiger Stadium at 7:00 PM for the big football game vs. Mayfield. Let’s come together, celebrate our students, and make it an unforgettable week in Tiger Country!
🖤 Let's turn our community Black & Gold! 💛

Homecoming Week Reunions!
We've heard that the Class of 1986, Class of 1996, and Class of 2006 will be hosting reunions during Homecoming Week! It sounds like they have tons of amazing events planned, including coming to the homecoming football game on Friday, Oct 2nd. We are so excited to welcome you back and are so happy you will be out in full force supporting our current Tigers! #TigerPride
