Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Families,
Spring is often one of the busiest and most exciting times of the school year. From classroom projects and performances like the Conga Kids Showcase to outdoor learning opportunities such as the Woodcraft Science Camp that our students will be attending, our students are actively engaged in meaningful experiences. I encourage families to continue fostering curiosity at home by asking about daily learning, celebrating accomplishments, and reinforcing the importance of kindness and responsibility.
Creating and maintaining a positive school environment remains our top priority, which is why we embrace the PBIS framework at Allison. A thriving school culture is built on respect, inclusion, and collaboration. We are committed to ensuring every student feels safe, valued, and supported. That is why we have our 3 behavior expectations: Ready, Responsible, and Respectful (3 Rs). When school and home work together, our children benefit in many amazing ways.
Before we approach Spring Break at the end of the month, know that we will be having parent conferences. Please see the scheduled days in our School Events section of this newsletter. We also will have an awesome Open House on March 24 that will include classroom visits, Kona Ice & a food truck to provide food and refreshments. Yes, spring is an exciting time at Allison!
I want to thank you for your continued trust and partnership. Together, we are cultivating not only academic success, but also a community where every child can grow and thrive. Wishing you a wonderful month of March!
In Partnership,
Dr. Cortez, Principal
