Here At JRB

It has been super cold, but today it eased up enough to take our last groups outside (real feel of 20 degrees). We always try to get the students out and check repeatedly during lunches and recess to reassess the temperature. With that being said, please have your students wear a real winter coat. We encourage hats, mittens, and more.

Hello JRB Families,

If you feel as though your student needs to be medicated in the morning to make it through the day, please consider keeping them home to rest. If your student is out sick with a fever, vomiting, and/or diarrhea, please see the following policies before you send them back to school:

• 24 hour Fever Free without the use of fever reducing medication
• 24 hours without vomiting/diarrhea
• If diagnosed with strep throat, 24 hours after first dose of antibiotic

If your student has a food allergy or dietary restrictions/sensitivities and requires food substitutions in the cafeteria, please email our Director of Food Services Dennis Mueller @ dmueller@awrsd.org.

The nurse's office could use some donations of pants for all of our kids. From PreK to 5, pants are sometimes needed and we don't have many to send home. Sweatpants and leggings are preferred as they often fit many sizes. Thank you all in advance!
