Message from the Principal Message from the Principal

JAJHS Families,

It is so hard to believe we have arrived at the final newsletter and week of the year!

Around JAJHS, our students have been busy with special end-of-the-year projects, activities, and trips. Many of our 8th grade students visited Gettysburg and Washington, DC, last week! They toured a number of historical and important sites and made great memories together. Other 8th grade students enjoyed several special local trips and activities in our community!

Our 7th graders traveled to Junior Achievement’s Finance Park this week to experience some real-world simulations including financial and career planning!

As we head into the final week, I want to take a moment to again thank you for sending us such wonderful kids this year. We have truly enjoyed watching them learn and grow in so many ways. From athletics and fine arts to social skills and community service - our kids have shown success in so many ways.

Our last day of school is next Friday, May 30th. Final 4th Quarter report cards will be mailed home the following week.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Sincerely,

Mr. Malany

Principal

Sometimes parents ask that school personnel administer medication to their child during the school day. When this is necessary, we require written permission and instructions from the parent and in some instances from the doctor. The required form must be completed and turned in to the junior high office with the medication to be administered.
