- All other schools (on the traditional calendar) return on Monday, August 24th.
Still need to enroll a student? Registration is open. Enroll online today for the upcoming year.
Transportation Requests
Important Reminder: Don't Miss the 2026-2027 Transportation Request Deadline
Please have Transportation Request Forms submitted to the CCS Transportation Office by Friday, August 7th to ensure transportation on the first day of school (August 24th).
Requests received after the deadline will be accepted and processed as soon as possible, but will result in a delay in receiving a bus assignment and route for the start of the school year.
Families do not need to complete a new Transportation Request Form for the 2026–2027 school year if their transportation information remains the same as last school year.
Visit our website to learn more and complete the 2026–2027 online form. The form is also available to download.
Important Notes:
- The deadline for J.P. Knapp E.C.H.S. families to submit requests was Friday, July 24. Families may still submit requests; however, beginning of the school year transportation is not guaranteed.
- J.P. Knapp E.C.H.S. families, please expect an automated phone call this week once final bus assignments and route information are available.
Get Set for a Great Year: Complete the Annual Information Update
Currituck County Schools asks that all parents and guardians complete the Annual Student Information Update through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. This convenient online process allows families to update contact and emergency details, electronically sign important beginning-of-year forms - including handbook acknowledgments, Chromebook agreements, and media consents - and pay student fees securely, all in one place.
Completing the update also helps ensure families receive the most current information through messages and phone calls and can be reached in case of an emergency.
Access the Campus Parent Portal to update today! A step-by-step guide is available or feel free to contact your child's school for assistance.
