YEARBOOK:

Any parents who would be interested in helping out with the NMS yearbook, please contact Ashling Kelly-Keegan at akellykeegan@nps.org. This includes being available after school hours to help with the yearbook club.

Any parents or staff members who have photos of school events, including the Fun Run, or school sports games, please submit your photos to nmsyearbook@nps.org

Attention all 8th grade parents:

This year NMS will be holding a Halloween Dance for the 8th graders. This will take place on Friday, October 28th from 6-8pm. Students are encouraged to dress up in a costume! We ask all students to have appropriate clothing, with no masks, anything that could cover their face, or accessories such as weapons of any sorts.

The dance will be $5 at the door, all profits will be put into the 8th grade events account to be used for their end of the year events.

Snacks and drinks will be available to purchase at the dance - cash only!

We are hoping for families to donate any halloween decorations and/or snacks, water or drinks that can be used to help set up for the dance. If you are able to donate supplies, please drop them off at the main office or send them in with your student to give to Ms. KK or Ms. Hickey. Email us with questions at akellykeegan@nps.org or khickey@nps.org

Science Curriculum

We are excited about the new science curriculum purchased by our district. OpenSciEd was launched to improve the supply of and address demand for high quality, open-source, full-course science instructional materials, while at the same time supporting the implementation of middle school science instructional units.I am including a link to learn more about the program, and a pdf explaining what you and your student can expect from the program.
