Principal's Message

Happy Friday Cougar Families!

Many of our Cougars had the opportunity to hear from a couple of guest speakers this week.

Juniors and seniors had the opportunity to hear from a gentleman by the name of Kevin Brooks, author of Just Wiggle Your Toes. He shared his story with our students to encourage good decision-making, appreciate ordinary moments, and remind people to stay grounded.

Some of our freshman and sophomore classes had the opportunity to learn from etiquette expert Elaine Swan. She spoke to our students about navigating modern etiquette challenges brought on by social media, virtual communication, and contemporary social dynamics.

Both speakers were very engaging with valuable messages that provided lessons about overcoming obstacles and how to present yourself in the modern world.

Please note that quarter 1 ends on Friday, October 10 and the school will be closed to students on Monday October 13th.

Rah! Rah! Cougars!

Dr. Parr

Drive Safe - the Cougar Way

Friendly reminder to please drive cautiously when entering and exiting campus. Our Campus Supervisors are here to help keep traffic moving safely and efficiently, and we appreciate your cooperation in following all directions from security personnel. When approaching the school from east Campo Road, please do not drive on the shoulder and allow vehicles to merge into the right-turn lane just before the school entrance. When waiting in traffic lines, please “close the gap” so we can accommodate as many vehicles as possible entering and exiting campus. Please also note that vehicle access at the back of the school is not available during the school day. Thank you for your patience and partnership in keeping our campus safe.
