8th Grade Awards Ceremony and Dance 8th Grade Awards Ceremony and Dance

We wanted to take a moment to express what a true honor it was to celebrate our amazing 8th graders at their Awards Night. It was a wonderful evening recognizing their hard work and achievements throughout the year.

Following the awards ceremony, the 8th grade dance was an absolute blast! The students had such a fantastic time celebrating together, and the energy in the room was truly infectious. It was a joy to see them all enjoying themselves so much.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible dedication and hard work of our 8th Grade Committee. Your time, effort, and creativity in planning and organizing the dance were truly outstanding. We are also deeply grateful to our generous community for their invaluable donations and support, which helped make the night so memorable and special for all of our students.

Thank you again to everyone who contributed to making the 8th Grade Awards Night and Dance such a resounding success. We are so proud of our 8th graders and all they have accomplished!

Lights, Camera, Teacher Appreciation Week! Lights, Camera, Teacher Appreciation Week!

We want to extend our deepest gratitude for the truly outstanding Teacher Appreciation Week you all created for us! Everyone felt so incredibly valued and celebrated throughout the entire week.

A special and heartfelt thank you goes out to our amazing PTO! Your hard work, creativity, and thoughtful planning made this week so incredibly special. We truly appreciate the time and effort you poured into making us feel so cherished.

We also want to give a big thank you to all of our fantastic business sponsors! Your generous contributions of food, swag, and coupons from our local businesses were such a treat and we are so thankful for your partnership and support of our teachers.

To everyone who signed up on Sign-Up Genius and contributed to the delicious popcorn bar and lunches – thank you! Your willingness to pitch in and provide these wonderful treats was so appreciated and enjoyed by all.

Lastly, we couldn't do any of this without the unwavering support of our AGS Parents who have made donations to the AGS PTO and supported our school-wide fundraisers. Your contributions directly enable these wonderful gestures of appreciation, and for that, we are truly grateful.

Thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts, for making this Teacher Appreciation Week so memorable. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us!

FAPS Summer Camp Adventures FAPS Summer Camp Adventures

A vibrant and engaging promotional flyer for "Fenton Area Public Schools" summer camp, designed to attract incoming 5th through 8th-grade students. The flyer features a collage of images and text elements against a bright, slightly textured background with playful orange doodles and circular accents. The central headline in large, bold, orange, slightly stylized font reads: "Join Us for Unforgettable SUMMER CAMP ADVENTURES!" Below this, in a slightly smaller, solid orange banner, it says "ALL SUMMER LONG." Surrounding the headline are several inset photographs and text blocks. At the top, a dynamic shot shows four smiling children looking down at the viewer from above. The child on the left has light skin and long, wavy blonde hair. Next to them is a child with medium skin tone and short dark hair. Across the top is a child with light skin and short brown hair, wearing a blue and white plaid shirt. To their left is a child with light skin and shoulder-length light brown hair. This image conveys a sense of fun and youthful energy. To the left of the main headline is a smaller rectangular photo showcasing a black and white ping pong paddle and three orange ping pong balls on a light-colored surface. An orange speech bubble with a white border points to this image and contains the white text: "Incoming 5th - 8th Grade options". Below the ping pong image is a text block that lists some of the camp activities: "Everything from Cooking or Sports. Theater or STEAM. Pickleball or 3D Printing... There's Something for EVERYONE!!!" This text is in a clear, sans-serif font. Contact information for "Information" is provided below this in a smaller font, including a phone number "810-591-2440" and an email address "[email address removed]". To the right of the main headline is another rectangular photo featuring a group of middle-school-aged children engaged in a hands-on activity. Four students are visible, appearing to work together on a project. One student on the left has light skin and dark hair, looking down at something in front of them. Next to them is a student with medium skin tone and dark hair, also looking down. Behind them is a student with light skin and light brown hair looking towards the right. In the background, partially visible, is another student with light skin and dark hair. This image suggests collaborative learning and engagement. Below this group photo is another rectangular image displaying a teal-colored futuristic car model created by a 3D printer, along with a white pen and what appears to be the 3D printing device in the background. This highlights the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) aspect of the camp. To the right of these images is a "WHERE:" section, indicating the location as "Fenton High School" at "3200 W. Shiawassee Ave. Fenton, MI 48430". At the bottom center of the flyer is a QR code and text that reads "Register at tinyurl.com/FentonSummerCamp". The "Fenton Area Public Schools" logo, featuring a stylized orange "F" with a paw print detail, is located in the upper left corner of the flyer. A smaller version of the logo is also present above the group photo. Overall, the flyer uses bright colors, engaging images, and clear text to communicate the exciting opportunities available at the Fenton Area Public Schools summer camp for incoming 5th through 8th graders.
