A Note from Dr. Busse
Hello Kenny Families -
October and November have blown by and we are already looking at December. There are lots of events and activities happening - so hopefully we will get to see you in the building before 2026!

Future Kenny Kid Night 12/3: Sharing the things that make Kenny great, while recruiting new Kenny Kids!
SW Pathways Movie Night at Anthony 12/5: Watch a movie with other SW pathways families, just a fun event to get people together.
5th Grade Volleyball 12/12: 5th graders play a volleyball tournament
Winter Spirit Week and Winter Options: Celebrating the end of the year!
We are rescheduling the Kenny Community Circle because this event is a critical step toward a more inclusive and welcoming environment. Our vision to foster a nurturing, anti-racist, and culturally responsive children, which is a partnership with families. This initiative addresses the reality that social justice issues are part of many families' lived experiences. We are collectively responsible for equipping all students to become "upstanders." They must be prepared to navigate and challenge racial disparities, helping to build a more just world. When we talk about closing the achievement gap, we are addressing a legacy of how education systems were historically designed. We recognize that systemic barriers still exist today. The Community Circle reinforces our dedication to dismantling these barriers. We aim to create an inclusive, equitable experience for everyone in the Kenny Community. Please indicate your preferred time and date for the new year. We are so thankful for our community's willingness to engage in these important conversations.
As we enter the holiday season, I want to say thank you for sending us your most precious gift every day and entrusting us with their care and education. It is a calling and an honor to get to shape young people’s lives.
Thank you as always for your support of our school and the Kenny kids.
In Partnership,
Dr. Jessica Busse
Principal, Kenny School
