Good Afternoon, Camp Families!

How are we ALREADY to our LAST week of Camp for this summer! This summer has truly flown by and it has been such a joy having each of our campers with us this summer.

We always say that the last week of camp is the best week and that will definitely hold true this week! We started our week with make your own donuts and had the best time! We will be having special surprises each day this week and fun themed dress up days for our campers and counselors too!

Dress Up Days

Monday- Mix Match Monday

Tuesday- Tie Dye Tuesday (Campers do not need to wear camp shirts this day)

Wednesday- Wear a hat Wednesday

Thursday- Crazy Sock Thursday

Friday- Talent Show Attire (Specific information for groups will be sent home via email by Tuesday morning)

Counselor Appreciation Week

We are so thankful for ALL the hard work our counselors have put forth this whole summer. We are using this week as a chance to say thank you for all their hard work! If you would like to send a note, sweet treat, or special surprise for your child's counselor I know they would be so thankful.

Tasty Tuesday

Tomorrow is Tasty Tuesday, and we're excited to enjoy another week of SNOWBALLS! We LOVE LouLa's snowballs!

Field Trip: Paradise Alley!

Our field trip this week is bowling! Our campers will have the best time bowling with their friends! Please be sure to send your child in tennis shoes the day of the field trip. Both days our campers will be leaving by 9:45 and returning by 12:00

Field Trip Schedule

• 3rd–6th Grade: Field Trip on Wednesday 7/22
• Kindergarten–2nd Grade: Field Trip on Thursday 7/23

Talent Show

Our Talent show is THIS FRIDAY, July 24th at 1:00. We would love for you to come enjoy this fun performance from our campers. Please see the attached form if your child would like to participate in an individual or smaller group act. All groups will be participating in the talent show.

Enrichment Camps

Acting began today! If your camper is enrolled, they may be dropped off through our regular morning carline beginning at 8:00 AM. Our staff will escort campers to Acting Camp and pick them up at 12:00 PM so they can rejoin their regular camp group for the afternoon.

Please note: Campers attending enrichment camps will not attend the weekly field trip if it conflicts with their scheduled camp.

Tropical Depression Bertha

We are continuing to monitor Tropical Depression Bertha closely this week.

Should weather conditions impact camp operations or activities, we will communicate any updates with families as soon as possible. As always, the safety of our campers and staff remains our highest priority.

Lost & Found Reminder

Our Lost & Found table is located near the morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up area.

If your camper comes home missing a water bottle, towel, clothing item, or other belongings, please stop by and take a look. We've collected quite a few items throughout the summer and would love to get them back to their owners! We will be bringing all lost and found items to the gym for talent show. After the last day of camp all items will be discarded.

Aftercare Information

Weather permitting, our aftercare schedule is:

• 3:30–4:25 PM: Playground
• 4:30 PM: Snack (in front of the camp building)
• After Snack: Movie time in Rooms C11 and C17

Aftercare Pickup

If you are picking up during playground time, please drive around to the gate nearest the football field. A staff member will assist you with checkout there. For the safety and accountability of all campers, we ask that families use this designated pickup location and check out with a member of our extended care team.

Thank you for trusting us with your children this summer. We are so grateful for each of your families and are looking forward to making the most of these final weeks of camp together!

We are SO excited to be able to offer Holiday Camps this year! Registration for these will begin mid August. We will be offering camp for each holiday your child is out of school! Be on the lookout for more information on this soon!

Monday -Ham and Cheese Hoagie Tater Tots Green Beans Vanilla Pears

Tuesday-Beef Soft Tacos Chuckwagon Corn Refried Beans Mandarin Oranges

Wednesday -Bacon Mac and Cheese Peas and Carrots Dinner Roll Mixed Fruit

Thursday - Domino's Pizza! We will have Cheese and Pepperoni for the campers to pick!

Friday - Chick-Fil-A lunch!

Our counselor of the week last week was Ms. Carolyne! She is one of our kindergarten counselors and she is AMAZING!

Thank you to Mr. Trip Holloway for sharing with our campers about the miracle of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead!

Be sure to send the following to camp with your child

- Water shoes/ flip flops for walking to and from pool.

- Tennis shoes for the rest of day.

- A change of clothes for younger ones to change back into after pool.

- A water bottle each day to ensure they stay hydrated!

Be sure to label all of your kids belongings.

Don't forget to send your camper with sunscreen. This wiill be collected by their counselor adn stored throughout the summer.

Kindergarten and 1/2 campers need to come in swimsuits as they swim and have water play early each morning.

Please DO NOT send your campers with any toys or pokemon cards to camp. We have had several get lost and we are trying to avoid this.

Aftercare is over at 5:30. There is a $1/ minute charge after this time.
