π Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent Teacher Conferences will take place on October 22nd from 8:00 AM-7:00 PM and October 23rd from 8:00-11:00 AM. A sign up email was sent out last week for each family to sign up. K-3rd grade parents will have individual conferences with their student's teacher. 4th grade conferences are student led and will be held in the gym with the family and student. 4th grade teachers will rotate to each student during their conference time. Students will NOT have school on either day.
π Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week is a special time for our students to focus on making healthy choices, taking care of themselves, and making positive decisions. Throughout the week, students will participate in fun activities and reminders that encourage healthy habits, kindness, confidence, and being the best version of themselves! Each day, we encourage students to dress in that day's theme outlined below.
π’ Volunteer Opportunities
- If you plan to volunteer at TGS this school year and have not completed the required volunteer paperwork, please complete the attached paperwork so you can be added to our approved list. We appreciate your time and help Volunteer Paperwork
- Fall Parties: A Sign Up Genius email for classroom fall parties was sent out last week. A link is also included below. This gives parents the opportunity to sign up to provide drinks/cups, plates/napkins, healthy snack, craft, game, or a take home bag. The parents who signup for the craft and game will be needed to volunteer during the class party to lead those activities. The snack volunteer should also check with the teacher about student allergies. Classroom teachers will share details about the time of their party as it gets closer. Sign Up Link
π₯ School Nurse News
By law, any student entering Kindergarten and 2nd grade needs to submit required medical records. This also includes new students to the district. These are due by October 15th so that your student is not excluded from school!! Letters have been sent to the students who are still in need of medical documentation.
