THANK YOU FOR A GREAT SCHOOL YEAR! THANK YOU FOR A GREAT SCHOOL YEAR!

Thank you so much for tuning into The Panther Pulse throughout the 2025–2026 school year! I hope these updates have served their purpose: showcasing the amazing things our students and staff are doing at Strayer, sharing key dates, and keeping our school community connected.

Note for all 7th-Grade Families: I will be sending out family newsletters around the midpoint of each summer month to keep families updated on the scheduling process and to help everyone prepare for the upcoming school year. Stay tuned!

As this is our final edition for the school year, I want to wish you all a safe, relaxing, and wonderful summer. Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Enjoy the summer, Panthers!

Shining Bright at the 8th Grade Dance!

The energy was electric at this year’s 8th Grade Dance, an unforgettable night dedicated to celebrating our incredible 8th-grade students as they prepare to take their next big step. The dance floor was packed from start to finish, filling the room with great tunes, delicious food, and the absolute best company. The camaraderie and school spirit were on full display as our students enjoyed a well-deserved night in the spotlight together. A huge thank you to all the staff and parents who helped make this magical night possible—we are so incredibly proud of our 8th graders and can’t wait to see them keep shining bright in the future!

🏫 Welcoming Our Rising 7th Graders!

Last week, we officially welcomed our incoming Rising 7th Grade students to Strayer, and wow—what an incredible orientation! Everywhere you turned, the energy was absolutely amazing.

Our amazing school counselors, Mrs. Lucchesi, Mrs. Cloonan, and Mrs. Carlson, put together a phenomenal event to help all students get a feel for Strayer life. Inside the auditorium, students got to hear directly from our current Strayer students during a great Q&A session. Outside was buzzing with excitement during the activity fair, and our student tour guides did a wonderful job showing our future 7th graders around their new home away from home!

Tuesday: Rising 9th Grade QCHS Orientation / Adjusted Schedule Tuesday: Rising 9th Grade QCHS Orientation / Adjusted Schedule

We have a busy and exciting Tuesday ahead as we head into the final days of the school year! In addition to our all-school locker cleanout, both 7th and 8th grades will be operating on an adjusted schedule throughout the day to accommodate the orientation at the high school (8th grade) and Officer Hendrzak's presentation (7th Grade).

Rising 9th Grade QCHS Orientation

To help our 8th graders transition smoothly to high school, all current 8th graders will be bussed to and from Quakertown Community High School (QCHS) for an exciting, agenda-filled afternoon.

Updated Schedule:

  • 10:30 AM: Students depart Strayer Middle School for QCHS.

  • Midday / Afternoon: While at the high school, students will eat lunch in the cafeteria, attend a Welcome & Q&A session in the QPAC, and participate in a building scavenger hunt hosted by NHS students. High school sports coaches will also be stationed in the Commons and Main Lobby to answer questions and share team information.

  • 2:00 PM: Students arrive back at Strayer.

7th Grade: Summer Safety Presentation

While our 8th graders are getting a taste of high school life, the 7th graders will gather for a special assembly of their own. We are excited to welcome our very own Officer Hendrzak, who will share essential summer safety tips to help our students stay safe, smart, and making good choices over the break!

Wednesday: Last Day of School! Wednesday: Last Day of School!

Morning Schedule for All Students

In the morning, both 7th and 8th-grade students will operate on an adjusted schedule that allows them to visit each of their "A Day" teachers one final time to wrap up the year.

7th Grade PM Activities

While the 8th graders are participating in the Moving Up Ceremony in the afternoon, our 7th graders will have dedicated time with their classmates and teachers. They will be participating in a variety of wellness and active lifestyle activities specially prepared by our Health and PE staff!

8th Grade: Moving up Ceremony Details

We are excited to invite you to our upcoming moving up ceremony at Strayer Middle School! To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, please take note of the following event details:

  • Date: June 10, 2026

  • Time: 1:00 PM (Doors will open for seating at 12:30 PM)

  • Location: Strayer Middle School Auditorium

Important Note on Attendance

Due to the maximum capacity regulations of our auditorium, we kindly ask that families limit their attendance to 2 guests per student. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us stay within safety guidelines while ensuring all students have loved ones in the audience to cheer them on.

Dismissal & Post-Ceremony Procedures Immediately following the conclusion of the ceremony, we ask that all families exit the building so we can clear the front lot and prepare for afternoon bus arrival. Because the ceremony concludes right around the end of the school day, students are permitted to leave directly with their parents. There will be no formal sign-out process. Please coordinate a plan with your child before Wednesday so they know exactly how they are getting home that afternoon (whether they are riding the bus, walking or leaving with a parent). Students who remain at Strayer will be dismissed at the normal time.

We will live stream the event to ensure that everybody has the opportunity to watch the 8th graders walk the stage!

The Request for Assistance Form should be completed if you have non-urgent concerns regarding an area of your student’s educational programming that may need attention from the school team.
