Mr. Brian Brown, Chief Financial Officer, led the discussion about building needs throughout the district. The district has identified a brand new middle school campus and renovations to the Ole Main Building as priorities. The Board will have to decide on asking voters for a millage increase.

Mrs. Mary Beth Hatch, the Coordinator of School Innovation, presented on the district's E4 initiative. E4 stands for "Expose, Explore, Expand, Excel." This initiative is a transformational plan to prepare students for careers through real-world experiences.

Mr. Jacob Smith, the Executive Director of Human Resources, shared data on employee attendance and substitutes throughout the district. In May 2022, the North Little Rock Board of Education passed a Recruitment and Retention Resolution to provide a $6,000 bonus in four equal tiers to employees with a 95% attendance rate.
