Principal's Weekly Update
Week of September 29 - October 3
Administrator's Message 🐾
Dear Wildcat Families,
As we continue to work together to support our students' academic and personal growth, I want to take a moment to share a few reminders about some school expectations we’ve recently seen students struggling with.
First, we are noticing an increase in rough play during unstructured times like lunch and passing periods. While students may intend this behavior to be playful, it has unfortunately led to physical altercations in some cases. We are reminding students that all physical contact should be respectful and appropriate, and we are encouraging them to choose safe and positive ways to interact with their peers. Your support in reinforcing this message at home is greatly appreciated.
Additionally, we’ve observed a number of students selling snacks and candy during the school day. While we understand the entrepreneurial spirit behind these actions, selling items on campus is not allowed and goes against our school policies. This rule is in place to maintain a safe and focused learning environment for all students.
Please take a few moments to speak with your child about these expectations. Our goal is always to foster a respectful, inclusive, and safe community where every student can thrive.
This week, we are looking forward to two more sets of home games. Please read the newsletter below for important updates and site happenings.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
