FUN DAY! June 5th!

Fun Day is coming up NEXT WEEK. Students will be participating in over 30 different events for which they'll earn tickets to see which Pod will win the Gold Medal! K-2 in the morning and 3-5 in the afternoon.

To make it truly awesome, need lots of volunteers! Even if you can only do an hour or so, we'd love to have you, and your kids would LOVE to see you there! Please SIGN UP HERE! Please scroll down as there are TWO time slots, morning and afternoon.

District Student Surveys

In accordance with Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) regulations, students are required to be surveyed at a minimum of once every four years. Our upcoming student survey includes questions adapted from DESE’s Model Survey to help us gather valuable feedback that supports school improvement efforts. If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to contact the main office. Thank you for your continued support.

REMINDER that WALKER pick up is out door 24 and at the crosswalk area. That is different than Parent PickUp which is on the side.

With warmer weather, a reminder that all students commuting on wheels MUST have a helmet on as per Mass General Laws. Also, no e-scooters please.

If kids want to come back to play, they MUST wait until 3:30pm, AFTER dismissal is fully over.

PTO NEWS!

Hey Dolphins,

Thank you so much for joining us at last week's Book Fair and Family Night! Thankfully the weather couldn't keep us down and a great evening was had by all.

With Book Fair being packed away, there's only one big PTO event left in this school year: FUN DAY! Dr. Marcus and the Theme Team have brought some great new ideas to mix in with some of our favorite traditions and we are so excited to send you off to summer with some great Duval memories!

Parents and guardians, we will need a ton of support to help run our 30+ stations on Fun Day, so make sure your CORI is active and please see the volunteer slots available here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090849A8AC2EA5FA7-56908319-funday#/

There are no longer classroom slots, as the kids will be free to choose their own fun day adventures, but we will still need your help to run the different games and activities to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable day! Please consider staying the whole day, even if your child is only participating in the morning or afternoon. I promise you will have so much fun with our students!

If you have any questions, please email us at duvalpto@gmail.com or reach us on the PTO Facebook page.

Sincerely,

Marshall Ottina

President, Duval PTO
