Reminders, Updates and Announcements!
Thank you so much for your support in helping the students to complete their Heritage Floats and prepare for the presentations. The students did an amazing job with their floats, posters, or Google Slides and the presentations are going great! I have included some pictures below showcasing their projects.
Here are a few reminders and updates.
- Students should bring their chromebooks to school fully charged every day.
Parent-Teacher Conference Sign Ups - Please use the following link to sign up for a conference - https://calendar.google.com/calendar/appointments/AcZssZ2vIoYJ8FMAoGhE07ySJRUQMVIIdgxkcP1PPEs=. The dates will be Thursday 10/5, Monday 10/9, and Friday 10/13 (School Wide Conference Day - No School). If these days or times listed do not work for your schedule, please email me so that we can make alternate arrangements.
Volunteers Needed - Do you love math and working with children? If so, I am looking for parent volunteers who are interested in working with small groups of students to practice math skills. If you are interested, please let me know.
- Remember to fill out and return the permission slip for the field trip to the Armory Center for the Arts on 10/31 @ 9:30 am. I realize that this is Halloween and the school usually has a parade around 8:30 am in the morning, so I am not sure how the field trip will impact our participation in the parade, but I will look into and let you know.
