Welcome Back! - September 2025
Principal's Message
Dear GTMS Families,
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” – Nelson Mandela
Welcome to the start of the 2025–2026 school year! We are excited for the year ahead and eager to continue building on the strong traditions of learning, growth, and community here at GTMS.
This year, we look forward to celebrating student successes, highlighting achievements inside and outside the classroom, and showcasing what makes us proud to be part of the GTMS family. We encourage you to follow along with us throughout the year and take a few minutes each month to read our newsletter, where we will share important information and celebrate all that our students accomplish.
As always, we begin the year grounded in our school motto: Respect the Paw—respect yourself, respect others, respect our school, and respect our community. Together, let’s start strong and make this a memorable year for every student.
We can’t wait to see all that we will accomplish—together.
Warmly,
Mrs. Paula Junker
Principal, GTMS

🌟 “Showing up is half the battle—students who attend school regularly are more likely to succeed academically and socially.” 🌟 At GTMS, we know attendance matters, which is why we’re kicking off our Attendance Campaign this year! Each month, we’ll be celebrating and rewarding our Grizzlies who keep their attendance streaks going strong. Let’s make every day count, Grizzlies! 💙🤍🐻
Celebrating 25 Years of GTMS!
What a beautiful afternoon filled with memories, laughter, and reconnections as we celebrated 25 years of GTMS! From former students and staff to BOE members and longtime Galloway educators, it was a day to remember.
“And when that capsule is opened in 2050, on our 50th anniversary, my hope is that GTMS will still be a place where students are seen, heard, and valued… just as we look back on the past 25 years with gratitude.” – Mrs. Junker

Harassments, Intimidation & Bullying (HIB)
It is imperative that we continue to teach our students the effects that bullying has on others and a community. Every student deserves a safe and supportive learning environment, free from fear and harassment. Any instance of bullying should be promptly reported to the administration or staff member, who will take immediate and appropriate action to address the situation. By fostering a culture of kindness, empathy, and respect, we can create a school community where all students feel valued and accepted.
