Intermediate Art Class Intermediate Art Class

Seventh grade artists in Mrs. Schenfelt's Intermediate Art classes learned how to create neurographic art. This relatively new art form was invented by psychologist Pavel Piscorev in 2014. The process allows us to transform areas of stress in our lives into something peaceful and beautiful.

One Book, One School One Book, One School

Beginning in November, Log College students will begin reading Refugee with their social studies classes. Refugee, written by Alan Gratz, is a captivating story that intertwines the lives of three young refugees from different periods of history.

*If you've never read the book, I highly recommend purchasing a copy. It can be found on Amazon for about $10.

Athletics

Just a reminder that Fall sports have begun. Well-behaved students are permitted to stay and watch home games but must take the late bus at 4:15 or have their own ride home following the game/match. You can find our current Fall schedule here.

Log vs. Klinger Events Log vs. Klinger Events

Each sport ends its season with a matchup vs. Klinger Middle School. In most cases, we are able to schedule the game/match at William Tennent High School. In those instances, it is mandatory that a parent/guardian attend with a student. The audience for these games are limited to Log College and Klinger students and their families. This week, field hockey and soccer will be facing Klinger at William Tennent HS (Volleyball and football next week). Students who attend are expected to exhibit proper behavior at the games and watch the games from the stands. Students who attend for other reasons, like playing on the sidelines will be reminded to sit with the adults who drove them or will be asked to leave.

For the upcoming football game, tickets will be sold, and we will request the name of the parent/guardian accompanying the student. Click here for information about the event.
