Oak Glen Recorder Ensemble
The Oak Glen Recorder Ensemble performed at New Manchester Elementary School on Wednesday as part of their "Fancy Like a Bearcat Day." The students and staff enjoyed the lunchtime music, and the ensemble enjoyed talking with some of the students and even received multiple rounds of applause from the second-grade students.
On Thursday evening, OGHS Band and Choir students Kaylee Culbreth, Kenzie Hayes, Ella Paras, Alex Marchese, Alexa Shaw, and Donald Vantilburg volunteered to help Mrs. Fernbaugh at OGMS with the annual Sing for Your Supper spaghetti dinner fundraiser for the OGMS Choir program. The students helped set up, took orders, delivered food to the tables and cleaned up afterward. OGHS students are so great for volunteering to help other students and teachers!

The World According to Mister Rogers "Important Things to Remember"
"When I was very young, most of my childhood heroes wore capes, flew through the air, or picked up buildings with one arm. They were spectacular and got a lot of attention. But as I grew, my heroes changed, so that now I can honestly say that anyone who does anything to help a child is a hero to me."
