Help Our 4th Grade Students Support Reach Rescue!

A passionate group of 4th grade students has been inspired to make a difference for animals in need! Next week, they will be collecting coins to raise money for Reach Rescue, our local animal shelter.

🎯 Our school goal is $400!
If we reach our goal, the entire school will earn a PJ Day!

Thank you for supporting our students as they show compassion, leadership, and kindness toward animals in need. Every coin makes a difference!

We are gearing up for next year! You received a link on May 1 to register your child for next year. Please complete registration as soon as possible if you have not already. If you did not receive a link or if your child is not returning next year, let the office know at ihoffice@sd25.org. Registration must be completed in order for your child to be enrolled.

Please keep the office informed of any changes in contact information. This includes if you have moved or changed addresses, as well as changes in phone number or email. Let us know as soon as you know! It is critical that we are able to get a hold of you for the safety of your children. Any changes can be emailed to ihoffice@sd25.org.

Thank you, PTA, for an amazing Staff Appreciation Week! There was something thoughtful and special every single day — from delicious treats and goodies to the generous breakfast on Monday and the wonderful lunch spread on Thursday. We truly felt celebrated and appreciated all week long. Your kindness, time, and generosity mean so much to all of us. Thank you for everything you do!

Students can come in their fanciest outfits for a fun and stylish day at school.

Regular attendance at school is an essential part of each student’s educational experience in District 25. If your child will be absent, we ask that you report the absence using the method designated for your school, listed below.

Please notify the office if your child is absent, late, or leaving early:

If the school office has not been notified of a child’s absence by 9:05 a.m., the school will contact the parent/guardian. If they cannot be reached, the school will attempt to contact the emergency contacts listed on the student’s emergency form (included in the registration packet).

These procedures are in place to ensure families are informed each day and that all students are accounted for and safe.

Parents may request that their child be excused from Physical Education for one day due to a medical reason. Any absence beyond one day requires a physician’s note.

For elementary students, physician orders must clearly state any restrictions for both Physical Education and Recess. Students who are unable to participate in Physical Education may not participate in school-sponsored sports during that time.

Elementary students regularly participate in outdoor activities during Physical Education classes, daily recess, and the lunch period. For the safety of all students, children are expected to go outside during these times unless there is a documented medical reason. If your child needs to remain indoors, a physician’s note is required that specifically states the outdoor restriction.

Every day that your child is not in school, is late or is leaving early the office needs to know!! There are three ways to notify us and they are available 24 hours a day!

1. Our GOOGLE FORM - just write in the information - you don't have to talk to anyone!

2. Our ATTENDANCE HOT LINE - Just call 847-398-4275 (the main number) and press 1 - leave us a message.

3. Email office - ihoffice@sd25.org

If you don't notify us, we are required to call you so PLEASE let us know if your child is absent, late or leaving early!!
