Gahanna Lincoln High School
2026-2027
A Message From Mrs. Williams
After an unexpected delay to the start of our school year, it was wonderful to finally welcome our students back to Gahanna Lincoln High School on Friday!
There was great energy throughout the building as students learned new routines, found their classrooms, connected with teachers and friends, and began settling into the 2026-27 school year. With approximately 2,500 students moving through the building and new routines, we know there will continue to be a learning curve—and that is okay.
Thank you to our students for their flexibility and positive attitude, to our staff for being visible and ready to help, and to our families for your patience and partnership as we begin the year. We are excited for a great week ahead!
One PRIDE. One Family. Go Lions!
Curriculum Night — Wednesday, August 26
We look forward to welcoming our families back to GLHS for Curriculum Night on Wednesday, August 26, from 5:00–6:30 PM.
Curriculum Night provides families an opportunity to connect with our teachers, learn more about their student's courses, and hear about classroom expectations, learning experiences, and ways families can support student success throughout the year.
There is no set bell schedule to follow during Curriculum Night. Families may navigate to their child's classes at any time during the 5:00–6:30 PM block. We encourage families to write down their student's schedule before arriving or bring their student with them to help navigate the evening.
We hope you will join us!

Seniors, we are excited to kick off your final year at GLHS with one of our favorite senior traditions!
Class of 2027 Senior Sunrise
📅 Friday, August 28
⏰ 6:30–7:30 AM
📍 GLHS Stadium
Members of the Class of 2027 are invited to come together to watch the sunrise, connect with classmates, and celebrate the beginning of their senior year.
Seniors and families should also make sure they have our Class of 2027 Important Dates saved as we begin this exciting year.
Parent Drop-Off Reminder
Parent drop-off is curbside only and should take place on the south side of the building (see map below).
Families should pull all the way forward to the Field House before dropping students off. Pulling forward helps us keep traffic moving safely and efficiently for everyone.
Please also note:
- Do not drop students off on Havens Corners Road.
- Do not stop in undesignated areas.
- Use the designated parent drop-off route on the south side of the building only (see map below).
Thank you for helping us to maintain a safe, organized start to the school day for all students.
Late Arrival & Early Release Students
Late Arrival Students
Students arriving after the school day has begun should enter the building through the Main Entrance.
Early Release Students
Students leaving school before the end of the day should exit the building through the Main Entrance when they are dismissed.
Using the Main Entrance for both late arrivals and early releases will help us maintain a consistent, safe, and organized traffic flow throughout the school day.
Thank you for reviewing this expectation with your student and for helping us continue to refine our procedures as we settle into our new campus routines.
2026–27 School Fees Are Now Available
School fees for the 2026–27 school year are now available for payment through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Fees are due by October 16.
Before submitting payment, families should make sure their student's class schedule is finalized, as individual course selections may impact school fees.
Families can also use Infinite Campus throughout the year to monitor attendance, grades, assignments, and other important student information.
Start Strong: Three Habits That Matter
As we settle into the school year, we encourage families to help students establish a few simple habits that can make a significant difference over time.
Be Here
Regular attendance matters. Being present gives students access to instruction, relationships, support, and opportunities that are difficult to replace when school is missed.
Be Ready
Students should bring their fully charged district-issued Chromebook and charger to school each day.
Stay Informed
Students and families should develop the habit of checking Infinite Campus at least once each week to review:
- Attendance
- Grades
- Missing assignments
- Course progress
Students do not need to wait until they are struggling to ask for help. Reaching out early is always encouraged.
Cell Phones & Personal Devices: Reminder
Thank you to our students and families for helping us establish focused learning environments as we begin the year.
Our schoolwide expectation remains:
Power it off. Store it away. Use your district Chromebook for school.
Cell phones and unauthorized personal electronic devices should remain powered completely off and stored during the school day.
This includes personal laptops, MacBooks, iPads, tablets, earbuds, headphones, and other personal electronic devices unless specifically authorized.
Students have access to their district-issued Chromebook for instructional technology needs.
If a student needs to contact home during the school day, assistance is available through the Main Office or Student Services. Families who need to reach their student may contact the GLHS Main Office at 614-478-5500.
Thank you for your continued partnership in helping us keep students focused on learning.
