Longfellow Family News

Dear Longfellow Families,

Hello October! Our students have settled into their routines, and it’s been a joy to see classrooms buzzing with curiosity, kindness, and creativity. Whether they are reading, exploring science, solving math problems, or learning how to be great friends, your children continue to impress us with their growth and enthusiasm.

Fall also brings many special moments to our school community- skating nights, football games, and parent-teacher conferences. These opportunities allow us to strengthen the home-school connection that is so vital to student success. We encourage you to stay involved, ask questions, and celebrate your child’s progress with us.

As always, our staff is here to support your child’s learning and well-being. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. We are grateful to be on this journey with you.

Wishing you and your family a season full of warmth, gratitude, and joyful moments.

With appreciation,

Your Longfellow Elementary Principals

New Report Card Guidelines and Letter to Families

Beginning next week the cafeteria will sell snacks at lunchtime. Students can choose from chips, cookies, or fruit snacks. Please note that students will only be able to purchase snack if they have a positive balance on their lunch account. Past due balances must be paid before students can buy snack. Breakfast and lunch will continue to be offered everyday at no cost, even if there is a balance on your student's account.

The Mobile Dentist will be visiting Longfellow on November 7th! If you would like your child to be seen by the dentist that day please sign up using the link below. https://www.myschooldentist.com/Default.aspx
