K-8 Campus Updates

Greetings Grizzly Families,

Great news, It’s time to Celebrate and Honor our Grizzlies! This week we will recognize students without office disciplinary referrals (SWR) for the first quarter. These students will receive a rubber bracelet, which allows them to come to school in their pajamas this Friday! 😀They must have their wristbands on if they plan to participate in the Student-selected Pajama Day.

Please remind your participating student(s) of the following:

  • Only pajamas should be worn. (no bonnets, head scarves, slippers) Shoes should still be worn for safety reasons.

  • Students not participating must adhere to the school’s dress code.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and continued support.

As always, thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow for conferences. Have a restful evening!

All the BEST,

Leah Spencer

Field Trip Updates for the 2025-2026 School Year

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns regarding recent field trip costs. We truly value your feedback and understand that these changes have prompted questions from many families.

In an effort to streamline and improve our field trip process, Clover Garden has partnered with Holbrook Field Trips, a professional educational tour vendor. This partnership allows us to manage all trip logistics in one place — including online payments, reservations, guided tours, and charter bus transportation — helping ensure each trip is safe, organized, and educationally enriching.

We recognize that costs may appear higher than in previous years, primarily because of the inclusion of chartered transportation and professional coordination services through Holbrook. These elements enhance the overall safety, structure, and experience of each trip for both students and staff, while also reducing the administrative burden on our teachers and volunteers.

Please know that our goal is not to limit opportunities for students but to create consistent, high-quality, and well-managed experiences across all grade levels. We are continuing to review feedback and will work closely with Holbrook to explore options that maintain quality while being as cost-effective as possible.

We appreciate your understanding and ongoing support as we implement this improved process. Your partnership is essential in helping us provide memorable, safe, and educational experiences for our students.

Thank you,

CGS Admin Team

High School Campus Updates

Greetings Grizzly Families,

We've had a fantastic start to the second 9-weeks. Mrs. Gladden and I met with the grade levels to remind them of academic and behavior expectations the October 14th, Elon Academy representatives spoke to our 9th graders on Wednesday, October 15th about the wonderful opportunity and application process for Elon Academy. Report Cards were sent home with students on Friday, October 19th. Monday, October 20th, was a teacher workday/parent conference day. If you were unable to meet or have questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with your scholar's teachers. We are excited to head into another successful week of learning. Your continuous support is greatly appreciated!

All the best,

Dr. Morris

Parent Volunteer Committee at Clover Garden School

👻 Get your Boo-Grams!

Boo-Gram order forms were sent home last week with k-8 students! Each Boo-Gram is just $1.00 and makes a sweet Halloween surprise for students, teachers, and staff!

📆 Orders are due Tuesday, October 28th.

If you need more forms, students can pick up extras from their teacher, or you can print more copies here. You can also place an order online, but please remember that payment must still be sent in to the school in a clearly marked envelope and a note that you ordered online.

If you’re ordering Boo-Grams for students in multiple grade levels, you can turn in all of your payments to one teacher—just be sure the envelope is clearly labeled that it includes multiple grade-level orders.

For all paper and online Boo-Gram orders, please make sure your envelope is clearly marked with:

  • Amount included
  • Your name
  • Homeroom teacher

📍 K–8 students should return their Boo-Gram money to their classroom teacher.

📍 High school students should bring their payment to the front office, where a collection envelope is available.

Thank you for supporting Clover Garden’s Boo-Gram fundraiser—it’s going to be a spooky good time! 🎃

Boo-Grams will be delivered on October 31st!
