Principal's Message
Dear Twelve Bridges families,
We had an excellent beginning to the 2026-27 schoolyear! It was great seeing so many happy students and fun, relationship building activities taking place in our classrooms. If these two days are any indication, we are in for an amazing year!
On Monday, we will begin our normal pick-up and drop-off procedures with only our students coming inside the gates.
Every Monday is an Early Release day for our 1st-5th graders with school dismissing at 1:40. For this reason, please DO NOT arrive before 1:30PM on Mondays if you are picking up a 1st-5th grade student. Kindergarten pick-up is at 1:25PM and we want to ensure we can get our kindergarten students picked up before the older students are dismissed. If you are in the driveline before 1:30PM we will ask you to circle back around or park in the neighborhood so that we can dismiss all of our kinder students first. If you have someone else picking up your students, please relay this information to them and have them watch the below driveline video so they know the rules as well. Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
We are looking forward to our first full week of school next week. We will be focused on all of our rules and procedures around the school during our first official "Tiger Training". See the schedule below for what we'll be focused on and also the simple dress-up theme for each day, starting with tomorrow's Neon Day for Safety.
Let's have a great week!
Go Tigers!

Driveline UPDATE!
Driveline and Traffic Reminders
Please remember there is no drop-off or pick up at the side gate unless you are in the designated classes that have been allowed to use it. No parking or stopping along the curb that is alongside the park. It only takes 10 minutes to get through the driveline. Avoid the hassle of parking by the park and use the driveline! Please help us alleviate traffic congestion by not driving all the way down by the park and then to the multi as parking there is very limited and creates issues with us being able to safely cross students and keep traffic flowing smoothly. The parking area in the multi is small and get congested easily. PLEASE DO NOT use this as a drop-off and turn around area. If you want to park you need to use the parking area by the park not in front of the multi. If you want to drop-off use the driveline area only.
NEW!! We have closed off the crosswalk that leads to Eastridge. In the space between that crosswalk and the park crosswalk we now have parking for golf carts. There are also 4 covered parking stalls near the multi, those are only for handicap parking, EV parking and EV handicap parking. The EV stations are NOT working yet.
Side/Bus Gate
Side/bus gate is ONLY for Kinder arrival and dismissal (for Mrs. Shelton and Caruso's Classes) and TK PM class dismissal. Please leave room at the front of the driveline so the bus can pull in and leave. Do NOT park on the left side (that is now the passing lane) and stay in your vehicle when dropping off your student to make the driveline run more smoothly.
Back Gate
Please be respectful of our back gate neighbors. The back gate entrance on Arroyo Madrone is not for dropping off or picking up students by car, but rather for walkers and bike riders only. Parents must drop-off or pick up their children at the corner of Arroyo Madrone and Briarton as it is a easier drop-off/pick-up location, much safer for our walkers and bikers, and does not cause traffic congestion for our back gate neighbors. All students should use the sidewalks and not walk/ride in the middle of the street.
Friendly reminder:
RED FIRE LANES are NOT parking areas, even if you are sitting in your vehicle waiting. If you choose to park in these areas you are subject to the applicable fines and penalties.
HANDICAP Parking is for those with Handicap Placard vehicles ONLY! This is not an additional drop-off area for you to pull in and drop-off.
Lincoln PD is getting a number of complaints of vehicles blocking the turn lane on Twelve Bridges Drive turning onto Eastridge (see map below). Officers will be monitoring this area and ticketing those blocking the turn lane.
Please note that the drive line is normally clear 10 minutes after school is out, so there's no need to start lining up super early. We have supervision out front until 2PM on Mondays and 3PM Tuesday-Friday. Typically, by 1:52 on Mondays and 2:52 the other days, the traffic line is easy and clear.
Children need to be properly secured in seatbelts and/or car seats according to the law.
Lincoln PD will be out monitoring and ticketing those not complying with the laws and causing traffic hazards.
If you need a refresher on the driveline protocols, please click the video above and watch it. Our goal is to help your students arrive and depart from campus efficiently and safely.
Thank you for your cooperation. If you have someone pick up your students who doesn't receive these messages, please share this with them so they are also aware.

How to Clear and Absence
If you need to clear your student's absence please choose one of the following ways:
- If your student is absent, after 10AM, you will get an automated attendance text/email via Parent Square. Simply reply to that with the reason of your student's absence.
- If you call before 7:30AM you can leave a message on our attendance line at 916-434-5210
- You can email mpisik@wpusd.org
- If you are unable to do any of the methods above, you can all the attendance line at 916-434-5210 and between 7:30-4:00PM an office staff member will answer. Due to the number of incoming phone calls and limited staff we ask for this to be a last resort option.
**Please note that emailing/communication with your student's teacher does NOT clear a student's absence.**
