Cooler Communities is a school grant program where students and teachers explore and work on projects that address climate change, energy use and conservation. These projects are showcased by students to the community through a fun and informative community event. The goal of Cooler Communities is to bring awareness around these topics that can lead to measurable results and benefits for the students, their communities and the earth.

Energize Framingham Energize Framingham

This year's event will be co-hosted by Energize Framingham, who will offer a chance to explore the clean energy projects happening here in Framingham, right outside Fuller Middle School. While you enjoy the Cooler Communities Fair, step outside to see the solar panels, EV charging stations and first-in-the-nation networked geothermal program that is currently connected to the Farley administration building. Energize Framingham and Framingham's Sustainability Coordinator Shawn Luz will share more about these projects and how they work, and invite you to ask your questions.

UPDATE:

The tour will likely be cancelled due to the anticipated rain. However, Mass Energize will be tabling inside of the Fuller building with the rest of the vendors and student projects. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
