Code of Student Conduct: The Code of Student Conduct handbook is posted on the Calvert County Public Schools website. Hard copies are available upon request. All students (grades Kindergarten to 12th) and their parents/guardians should review this document to become familiar with the rules and regulations that govern student behavior. School officials spend time during the first two weeks of school reviewing the information with students and highlighting major changes.
Students and their parents/guardians are responsible for knowing and understanding the information, including policies, procedures, and consequences for violating the Code of Conduct. The school will send home a Statement of Understanding with each student, to be signed by both the student and the parent/guardian and returned to the school.
Please refer to the Electronic and Communication Devices section of the Code of Conduct for additional information regarding rules and regulations for cell phones, smartwatches, and other electronic or communication devices.

Some students may qualify for free or reduced-price meals based on household income and size. Once approved, students are eligible to receive one reimbursable breakfast and one reimbursable lunch per school day at no charge. Paper applications are distributed at the start of the school year, as required by federal guidelines. They are also available for download on Calvertnet or can be completed online via LINQ Connect. Only one application per household is required. Applications are available in multiple languages on the USDA website. Students who qualified for benefits in the previous school year receive a 30-day carryover at the start of the new year. During this time, they continue receiving meal benefits while new applications are submitted and processed. If no new application is approved by the end of the carryover period, meal benefits will end automatically.
