End of Year Events

Dear AAECS Families,

We are officially at 15 Days Left of school.

Please see the UPDATED links for:

1. New! Reserve tickets to see one of our evening performances of Little Mermaid, JR!

2. Sign the permission slip &/or sign up to chaperone for:

• our daytime performance of Little Mermaid, Jr! for our K-3 students May 21!
• Field Day, June 5!

Our last 2 days of school, Monday, June 8th AND Tuesday, June 9th have a 12 pm Early Dismissal.

📝 Final report cards will be posted in Jupiter and mailed home by Friday, June 12, 2026.

☀️We are not running summer programs this year other than our Extended School Year program for special education students who qualify and our Kindergarten Kick-Off Week for incoming kindergarten students.

Join us for a magical performance of Little Mermaid, Jr! at Miller Symphony Hall in Allentown!

Unlike most schools, our Spring Musical is part of the curriculum for all 4th and 5th grade students, rather than an after-school activity for a select few. Come see the show and imagine what your child may be doing when they enter 4th grade. On- and off-stage roles available for all!

We have been promoting a celebration for students who "Make 95!" by being present in school 95% of the school year. We are also looking at a smaller celebration for those who make 90%, which is the state requirement.

Our current statistics are below. We've dropped 1% in each category - let's try not to drop any further as we only have 15 days left!

We appreciate your efforts to bring your child for each of our remaining days. Not only do we have exciting end of year events and trips, but we are also running our End of Year Benchmarks, to assess our students' growth in Reading and Math.

As of May 15:

• 43% of all students have been present for 95% days or more
• 78% of all students have been present for 90% days or more
