BCHS Royalty Announcements

BCHS Rolls out Safe Schools Reporting Tool: Anonymous Alerts

BCHS is the first DVUSD school to pilot and implement a new safe school reporting tool called Anonymous Alerts. Student or parents can use the tool to anonymously report safety concerns through the website or app. The difference with this program versus the other safe schools reporting is that it allows for two way communication that is encrypted so that BCHS administration can follow up and ask questions to clarify the concern. We always encourage our students and families to report directly to administration for the best attention and support for safety, security, health, or other concerns; however, we also recognize and understand that there are times when there is a need to share information with anonymity. This tool can better support that need.

Anonymous Alerts is checked during business hours (7-3:30) and days. If there are concerns that are timely and serious outside of those times, it is important to call police or 911 for immediate support. To report through Anonymous Alerts, you just need to use any internet based device and go to https://report.anonymousalerts.com/deervalleyusd/.

With all safe schools reporting tools, it is important that those reporting use the tool for true concerns. Using the tool for jokes or false reporting takes time away from supporting legitimate situations or on campus needs.
