Happy Halloween, CUSD,
It was such a treat to visit our campuses today and see the joy and excitement as students and staff celebrated Halloween! From classroom parties in elementary school to pumpkin decorating in high school, our campuses were filled with laughter and festive spirit. I’m always amazed at the creativity expressed in everyone’s costumes! After a long, hot start to fall, today felt like a welcome celebration of cooler weather and the beginning of the holiday season.
Next Wednesday at 6pm our CoSA team will host the annual CoSA Showcase. This fun event is an opportunity for the community to come see everything CoSA has to offer - from music and dance performances to design and fine art exhibits. Everyone is invited and information will be provided to prospective students and families. If you’ve ever been curious about exactly what CoSA is and does, please stop by and check it out! This event is free and open to the public - details are on the flyer below.
Wishing you all a safe and happy Halloween! And don’t forget to set your clocks back on Sunday. Monday morning will come quickly, especially after Halloween festivities, but we will have that extra hour of sleep and a little more morning light!
