Weekly Update 11/21

November 21, 2025

Dear Oak Brook Families,

Congratulations to our 2nd grade students and Mrs. Gilhaus. They put on an amazing performance of "Pajama Party" last night.

As the holiday season approaches, Oak Brook will be helping families in need through our Gift of Giving program. If you would like to help support Oak Brook families through our Gift of Giving program this year, please use the link below to sign up. We plan to send out the request lists the week before Thanksgiving.

This will be our last weekly update until December 5. We hope you and your family have a happy and safe Thanksgiving.

Sincerely,

Katie & Chris

One of our multi-age families is running a board game drive as their service learning project. Please see the flyer below for details.

Gratitude

This week we will focus on gratitude. We define gratitude as choosing to appreciate the people and things in our life. Gratitude is something we should focus on all year long. Unfortunately, we don't always show gratitude throughout the year. As we approach Thanksgiving, take time to talk with your family about what you are grateful for. You may even think about making it a common occurrence after the holiday season.
