Madison Elementary School Update
Happy New Year!!!
Count Day
This Wednesday, October 1st is our Count Day. Attendance on this day helps ensure our school receives the funding and resources needed to support our students and programs. Thank you for making every effort to have your child here!
ATTENDANCE AWARENESS
As Attendance Awareness Month wraps up, remember—this is just the beginning. When schools, families, and communities work together, we create a culture where every student belongs, and attendance thrives. Let’s keep showing up—for our kids and their future.

Fall Fundraiser
If you still have fundraiser orders and money at home, please remember to send them to school with your child as soon as possible. We were notified today that the online orders will remain open until this Friday (in case you want to get a few last minute orders). 5th graders can still apply 25% of their total sales to their 5th grade camp expense (up to $225).
Artsonia
Be on the lookout tomorrow for a slip of paper being sent home with your child. Ms. Tripp, your child's art teacher, is providing instructions to help you create a login for your child on Artsonia. Artsonia is an online student art gallery and portfolio that can accompany them throughout their entire school journey. This platform allows families to view, celebrate, and share their child’s artwork. It’s a fantastic way to stay connected with what your child is creating in the art room, while also offering the chance to purchase keepsakes featuring their artwork. Plus, 20% of each purchase goes back to Madison's art program, supporting creativity in the classroom.
Immunization Updates
Letters have gone out from the district to families with students in need of updated immunization records. If you have any questions, please call your student's grade level office or the Lenawee County Health Department.
