Dear Boyden Families,

The second parent-teacher conference will be held on:

Tuesday, March 11th (5:00 - 7:00 PM)
Thursday, March 13th (5:00 - 7:00 PM)
Friday, March 14th (1:00 - 3:00 PM)

If you are a parent with more than one child at Boyden, please allow for at least 10 minutes between your conferences. We have found that back-to-back conferences do not allow for travel from classroom to classroom.

If you have a Grade 4 or Grade 5 student please sign up with their CLASSROOM TEACHER ONLY.

Please click on the link below, locate the teacher's name, click on the link on the right, and sign up for the day/time you would like. All our classroom teachers and specialists are listed.

Exciting News: The Scholastic Book Fair is Coming Back to Boyden!

We are thrilled to announce that the Scholastic Book Fair is coming back to Boyden. This special event is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore new books, build their love of reading and support our school media center and classroom libraries

Event Details:

Student Wishlist Preview: From 3/4-3/7, students will visit the media center, browse the fair, and create wishlists. They will bring these wishlists home to share with their families. (Tip: Take a photo of their wishlist for easy reference!

Book Fair Shopping: Families are invited to visit and shop during Parent-Teacher Conferences:
- March 11: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- March 13: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- March 14: 1:00-3:00

How You Can Help: Thank you to all the families that signed up to help with Preview Week. An email with directions will be coming to you soon. We still need volunteers to work the exciting book fair event! Please use this link to sign up.

Re:Dish Program Launch

Boyden officially launch the Re:Dish program this past week and it is going great! Our Student Council helped in the cafeteria for the first three days to make sure our younger students knew how to stack the new tray. Ask your children about the new trays.

This initiative helps reduce single-use packaging in our cafeteria by introducing reusable plates and trays, supporting our school’s sustainability efforts.

Extended Day Summer Program

Extended Day is excited to announce that Extended Day will be running a Pilot Summer Program this upcoming summer and registration is now live. We are anticipating registration to fill quickly and will do our best to enroll as many waitlisted students as possible.

This year, the camp will run for 4 weeks at Fisher Elementary and offer an Extended Day PM option for families. Registration will be open for incoming first through sixth graders. Registration will be available for individual weeks and families will have the option to register for all 4 weeks at a discounted rate.

Next PAC Meeting is Wednesday, March 5th at 7:00 PM in the Boyden Media Center

The Boyden Community is going to the Providence Bruins for a Teddy Bear Toss on Sunday, March 2, at 4:05 PM! Tickets are $27/ticket for great 100-level seats and a portion of ticket sales is going back to the Boyden PAC! Get your tickets here before this most popular game of the season sells out:
