We are lucky at Ringgold Elementary to have not one, but two Mrs. Howards teaching 5th grade Math this year! These ladies are not only colleagues, but family! Read below to find out a little more about our Mrs. Howards!
Ali Howard
My name is Ali Howard and this is my 8th year teaching. Although this is my first year at RES, I have taught several grades including 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 5th grade!
I received my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from UTC, my Masters in Reading and Literacy from Walden University, my Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Kennesaw State, and I am currently working on my Doctorate in Education at Kennesaw State.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, kids, and our 2 dogs! We also enjoy vacationing and spending time with our extended family (which includes Mrs. Katelyn Howard) any chance we get!
Mrs. Katelyn Howard and I are married to twin brothers, making us sister-n-laws. Lucky for us we were best friends before we were related, and now we get to teach side by side with the very best at RES!
Katelyn Howard
Hello! I am Katelyn Howard. It is my third year teaching, all of which I have taught 5th grade. I started at TCE, then moved over to RES.
I am married to Shane Howard, and together we have 2 boys. I am a bonus mama to Colt, who is turning 16 this month, and mama to Judson, who is 2. We love doing all the things outdoors, especially rodeos, but mostly hanging out with friends and family.
Ali and I worked together at Tiger Creek and became best of friends, so I decided to introduce her to my brother-in-law, and the rest was history. We are so excited to get to meet all of you and your families within RES. Only the BEST at RES.
Since we have TWO Mrs. Howards that teach 5th grade Math this year, PLEASE BE SURE to specify K. Howard or A. Howard when you refer to them so we will know which class your student is in! 😉
